This California-owned brand makes pre-packaged lentil meals blended with herbs and spices — perfect for camping, backpacking, or life on the go. Redefining meals-in-a-bag, these dishes are made with simple ingredients sourced from the USA and Canada, do not contain excess salt, and have no preservatives. All you need is 7-minutes, water, a pot, and a heat source.
About three years ago, Lisa (ex-corporate operations manager) and Sonja (current University Professor) brought the fledgling Lentilicious company to the USA from Australia, as a true start-up with no major investors. A two-woman company.
Running Lentilicious in Silicon Valley is a full-time job for Lisa, and Sonja works in between lectures and exams! Lisa completely ditched the corporate life to concentrate on building a unique food company from scratch with the constant focus on growing “as a force for good.”
Operating within a 15min drive of the world’s biggest tech companies (Google, Apple, Facebook, Cisco, Twitter), the opportunities are huge for the thousands of “techie” workers who live within walking distance of the downtown San Jose headquarters of Lentilicious.
